We are recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner ▶ Salary: £47,500 - £57,500 (competitive OTE) ▶ Job type: Full time and Permanent Powersystems is continuing to grow and develop as an employee-owned organisation, which is key to the cultural evolution of the business. Our continued success has driven the decision to recruit an experienced HRBP to work within the developing Human Resources function. This key operational role will need to bring a holistic, commercial mindset and will be imperative in providing dedicated support and guidance to our managers and wider workforce across the UK. Reporting to the Head of HR, this newly created position will be key to ensuring our team has the right resources, HR guidance and day-to-day support, with a primary focus on supporting the wider leadership team to delivery the people and culture strategy. This role will be key in contributing towards strengthening business performance through good organisational design, engagement and communication at all levels. Overall, you will support the business to bring employee ownership to life, and enhance the employee experience and careers across Powersystems, receiving the training you need to support you along the way. Duties and responsibilities of the role include: ▶ Managing all day-to-day HR activities of the Company; working closely with managers to drive the people agenda in line with the strategic direction of the business. ▶ Support the delivery of HR Strategy and initiatives to enhance the business performance. ▶ Lead various workstreams to enhance the Company’s people and culture objectives. ▶ Ensure HR policies and procedures support the business and reach its strategic goals and long-term objectives; keeping up to date with employment law, including ED&I thought leadership. ▶ Provide HR solutions, resolving personnel matters, retaining a talented workforce and ensuring compliance with regulations and guidance. ▶ Act as a key point of contact for the employees and managers for HR issues, including pay and grading related matters. ▶ Effectively support and guide managers and employees through change and transformation programmes. ▶ Guide and support managers on HR related matters including strategic workforce planning, developing supportive HR strategies to ensure a positive, wider organisational impact ▶ Support active talent management; identify and prepare development plans for the key employees and high potential employees in conjunction with L&D. ▶ Coach and mentor other members of the HR team and managers. ▶ Using excellent communication skills create partnerships to create sustained solutions for individuals and organisation development. ▶ Proactively manage employee wellbeing and engagement across the business. ▶ Uphold a professional image, contribute to Powersystems' success, and proactively improve services and efficiency. ▶ Embrace and demonstrate the Company’s 5 core Principles of: PriorityNo.1 – Health, Safety and Well-being, Professionalism, Pride, Partnership and Proactive In return we offer: ▶ £47,500 - £57,500 (Competitive OTE) ▶ Contributory company pension scheme ▶ Private health insurance ▶ Healthcare cashback plan ▶ Mental health support ▶ Employee assistance programme ▶ 25 days annual holiday plus paid public holidays ▶ Paid volunteering time, and company contribution towards your charity fundraising efforts ▶ Benefit from company profit share as a partner in our business ▶ Flexible working arrangements (office / hybrid) ▶ Great training and development opportunities ▶ Life assurance ▶ PPE and company clothing provided ▶ Holiday purchase scheme ▶ Cycle to work scheme ▶ On-site gym ▶ Bristol office free parking, onsite parking, and electrical vehicle charge points Here’s what you need to be successful in the role: ▶ MCIPD or able to demonstrate suitable equivalent ▶ Demonstrable (7 years minimum) HRBP with a track record in delivering a wide variety of HR support and offering trusted HR advice to senior management. ▶ Proven experience of supporting the implementation of projects to drive a People strategy. ▶ Adept at managing multiple stakeholders ▶ Excellent knowledge and application of UK employment law, regulations, and compliance. ▶ Must be available to travel on work related business with occasional overnight stays. ▶ Must hold a full UK driving license. ▶ Strong organisational, time management, IT (MS Office), and report writing skills, with excellent spoken and written English. ▶ Ability to clearly communicate technical and commercial information, negotiate effectively, and contribute to a dynamic team. ▶ Adaptable, resilient, proactive, willing to travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays, and holds a full UK driving licence.
