Trade Mark Attorney / Associate Location: London | Hybrid working A leading international law firm is seeking a UK Qualified Trade Mark Attorney (Associate) to join its highly regarded Intellectual Property practice in London. This is a rare opportunity for a Trade Mark professional with a genuine interest in branding work, and represents an excellent opportunity to work on complex, cross-border brand matters for a premium client base. The opportunity The successful candidate will join a market-recognised IP team advising major multinational brands, growth businesses and innovative organisations across a wide range of sectors. The work is varied and high quality, combining strategic brand management with contentious and enforcement matters. Key responsibilities include: Advising on UK, EU and international trade mark portfolios Management of trade mark and design portfolios; providing advice on trade mark and design clearance searches, drafting trade mark specifications and advising on filing strategies. Clearance, prosecution strategy and global filing programmes Managing oppositions, invalidity actions and appeals Advising on enforcement, infringement and anti-counterfeiting matters Working closely with colleagues across international offices Building trusted relationships with new and established clients. Candidate profile UK Qualified Trade Mark Attorney Typically 3–5 years’ post-qualification experience Strong technical grounding in trade mark prosecution with exposure to disputes Commercial, confident and client-facing Able to manage matters autonomously while contributing to team development Why consider this role?
