Overview
A leading manufacturer is looking to hire a Night Shift Engineer to maintain the machinery and equipment on the busy night shift. As a night shift engineer, you will be joining a structured maintenance department where you will ensure the factory is running up to speed and production levels are maintained. You will also have a good chance to be a key player in proactive and planned maintenance to prevent future breakdowns.
Responsibilities for the Night Shift Engineer
* Proactive maintenance and site PMs
* Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
* Working across both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
* Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
* Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes and machine output
* Adhering to site Health & Safety rules and legislation on site
Requirements for the Night Shift Engineer
* Time-served/recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
* Experience working in a Multiskilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
* Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment
