Job Description
AtlasNXT, our flagship platform empowers organisations worldwide to make smart, resilient decisions in real time. For 20+ years we’ve supported industries from national security and logistics to media, NGOs, and healthcare. Now, we’re looking for a Backend Node.JS Developer to help us grow and scale further.
About the Team
You will be working in the Geospatial domain at Track24, responsible for GIS, geolocation, tracking and mapping capabilities.
Responsibilities
* Contributing to and reviewing the development and maintenance of all aspects of the applications and services owned by the team
* Contributing in tactical planning and execution of quarterly roadmap projects and features in the teams domain and work cross-functionally across Product and Engineering teams to facilitate delivery of the teams tasks
* Consult with the Engineering team in planning sessions to plan and forecast execution of the quarterly roadmap
* Work as part of a team with a deep focus on hard technical problems and explain the why, how, and what, that makes your solution technically sound, provide constructive feedback regarding best practices, performance, and maintainability
Requirements
The following requirements will make you a successful Backend Engineer at Track24
* Have a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
* Have at least 3 years of experience as a Backend Developer
* Have a strong frontend background and proven track record of building and maintaining reliable server-side applications at scale with Node.JS
* Note: Don’t have geospatial experience? We may have a spot for you within one of our other engineering domains!
We are based just outside of Farringdon station, and would love to see you in the office once per week!
