Job Title: Head Chef at Daish's Hotels

Salary and Benefits:
* Up to £35,100 per annum, based on 45 hours per week, working up to 6 days a week

Working Hours:
Evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Kitchen team finishes by 8.30pm. Breakfast shifts start at 7am and end around 10.30am.
Role Overview:
Our guests dine at set times, twice daily, from a set menu—no cooking to order. The focus is on batch cooking and organized delivery. Breakfast is served at 8.30am, and dinner at 6.30pm, with service aimed to complete within 45 minutes. We provide comprehensive support through our Group Operations Kitchen Manager, menu guides, and suppliers, making kitchen management straightforward.
Skills and Qualities:
* Leadership in food preparation and team development
* Budget management and cost control
* Stock management and replenishment
* Maintaining legislative records (e.g., SFBB logs, labeling)
* Achieving and maintaining high standards in health inspections (minimum 4 rating)
* Current Level 3 Hygiene Certificate (training provided if needed)
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Knowledge of culinary trends and kitchen processes
* Commitment to organizational values
* Understanding of health and safety regulations in kitchens
