Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide three weeks' notice of your shifts.

- Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.

- Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
- Be knowledgeable about the store's performance, understand your role and help drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit.
- Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
- Live the values, make everyone feel welcome and always follow the policies.
- Accept deliveries into the store when required.
Qualifications
- A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride.
- The ability to build rapport with customers so they leave the store having experienced a great shopping trip.
