An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the HSCP’s planning team. We are recruiting a planning support officer, on a fixed term contract of up to12 months, providing administrative and project support to the planning team.
This is a varied post and the post-holder will support a number of projects and HSCP wide planning functions, as directed by the Head of Service, Senior Planning Manager and other planners. There is also scope to support the department’s communications and public engagement activities, specifically in relation to the development of the HSCPs Joint Strategic Plan.
We are looking for candidates with following experience, skill and knowledge:
1. Meeting organisation and support, including collating meeting papers and minute taking
2. Diary management;
3. Personnel support (payroll and SSTS);
4. Document formatting;
5. Basic understanding of project management principles (ie. The role of project plans and milestones;
6. Dealing with and prioritising multiple requests for support and assistance;
7. Effectively liaising with multiple departments;
This would be an ideal development opportunity for someone who is interested in getting experience in relation to supporting a corporate team and developing skills in the area of project management, supporting communications and public engagement work.
This is a part-time post of 25.9 hours per week, to be worked in accordance with service requirements. This post is fixed term for a period of up to 12 months, covering a period of maternity leave.
