We are seeking a Head of Sales to join a leading software firm. Responsible for driving continued growth as they develop their cloud-first product roadmap and go-to-market strategy. With overall accountability for sales execution and strategy of their software solutions, you will balance their ambition to build a world-class Sales organisation. Role As a key part of the leadership team and a key change-agent for the sales organisation, the successful candidate will be responsible for: Creating, articulating, and leading our growth agenda across the sales function, with a particular focus on the execution of the sales strategy behind SaaS cloud software offerings With a focus on net new customer acquisition, setting the strategy for our New Business teams, and ensuring they are equipped with the correct tools, skills, knowledge and process to deliver against challenging new business targets The delivery of challenging revenue and sales bookings numbers across our sector markets. Ensuring the delivery of accurate forecasts and supporting Sales Directors with the management of new business pipelines Developing and supporting the evolution of a coaching culture across the Sales function, working with peers from other parts of the business to create effective people development and management strategies Experience Suitable candidates will bring a variety of sales and leadership skills, particularly in relation to: Understanding the market requirements of organisations across the SaaS markets and building and driving the correct tactical and campaign activities to maximise execution Articulating best practice, and driving the implementation of relevant programmes, systems and tools to bring it to life across the organisation Defining sales strategy, and supporting its execution across a diverse range of customers groups and markets Leading the engagement and development of our people, supporting the execution of our Talent strategy and our ambition of building a world-class culture, where the right behaviors are promoted within a pay for performance environment Person profile Suitable candidates will be able to demonstrate: A strong understanding and experience of selling in the SaaS sector A strong, clear and engaging vision for world-class sales coupled with a relentless approach to sales execution Deep experience of leading sales teams in software environments A clear vision of sales best practice across process, people development and systems A strong understanding of cloud software solutions, sales process governance
