Role Overview
As Sales Manager at Belfast Peugeot, you will act as a role model for customer service excellence, developing long‑lasting relationships with customers and coaching the team. You will report to the Franchise Sales Manager and oversee day‑to‑day showroom operations, including vehicle valuations and sales, supervising the vehicle journey from workshop prep to imaging and showroom presentation.
Contract & Compensation
Contract Type: Permanent, full‑time
Hours: 44 hours per week
Salary: Competitive Basic Salary + Bonus opportunity
Responsibilities
* Managing the full sales process, from web inquiry to phone & showroom
* Managing staff performance through structured 1‑1s, training and development
* Implementing department targets and brand KPI’s
* Responsible for buying in vehicles and maintaining up‑to‑date stock pricing
* Ensuring full FCA compliance within the Sales Department
* Managing and owning customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Requirements
You will have prior experience in a similar premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. You will be able to demonstrate experience in leading a highly motivated team and know how to bring out the best in each team member.
Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and the ability to identify and address shortfalls promptly is required. You must understand finance and insurance product regulations and have excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate a sale. A full UK driving licence is essential.
