Cleaner role at Ziron Environmental Services, Inc.
Location: Cupar. Contract Type: Permanent. Salary: £24,740.74 pro-rata. Working pattern: Various hours per week, 40 weeks per year. Closing date: Tuesday 04 November 2025. Proposed interview date: Week Commencing 10 November 2025.
We currently have permanent vacancies for cleaners in Cupar, with opportunities to work in local schools. No previous experience is required as on-the-job training is provided, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.
Responsibilities
* Ensure pupils and staff have a clean and safe environment every school day.
* Carry out general cleaning duties as part of a team in Cupar schools (e.g., Westfield Family Nurture Centre, Kilmaron School).
Qualifications and requirements
* No previous experience required; full training provided. You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
* Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland prior to appointment.
* Ability to work as part of a team and follow school cleaning schedules.
* Evidence of eligibility to work in the UK may be required as part of the application process.
Pay, benefits and working conditions
* Salary: £24,740.74 pro-rata; pay is annualised for 40-week contracts (equal instalments every 4 weeks).
* Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
