Responsibilities
* Support the SENCO in coordinating provision for pupils with SEND.
* Assist with reviewing needs, support plans and documentation.
* Help implement strategies for pupils with SEMH needs.
* Work alongside teachers to ensure effective classroom adaptations.
* Support assessments, interventions and monitoring processes.
* Liaise with families and external professionals when required.
* Promote inclusion and ensure pupils can access learning successfully.
Qualifications
* Must hold QTS.
* Relevant qualifications and experience supporting SEND.
* Strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective support strategies.
* Able to work collaboratively across teaching and support teams.
* Effective communicator with strong organisational skills.
* Confident in supporting assessments and tracking progress.
* Positive, proactive and committed to improving outcomes for pupils.
* Skilled at building trust and supporting pupils' emotional well-being.
