We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join the team at HMP Millsike, a brand new state‑of‑the‑art Category C male prison in Full Sutton. HMP Millsike has a capacity of nearly 1500 males, who are housed within 2 years of their release date.
Job Summary
As Business Manager, you will lead the admin function that supports the wider healthcare team on site, ensuring that patients receive the best quality care and that the team is fully supported. The role is full time (37½ hours per week) Monday to Friday 08:00‑16:00. Annual salary £39,019 – £44,183, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Line manage the Administration Lead and the administration team.
* Gather, collate and analyse high volumes of data to produce reports for the Senior Management Team and external stakeholders.
* Act as a key member of the Senior Management Team at the site, attending meetings at both site and regional levels.
* Manage access and permissions for SystmOne.
* Initiate and track prison vetting for new starters and oversee recruitment and HR activities.
* Verify accuracy and completeness of all patient data.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous management or leadership experience.
* Experience using a patient records system such as SystmOne (highly preferable) or EMIS.
* Strong analytical skills with experience in data reporting and database maintenance.
* Experience in a prison or secure setting is an advantage.
