REPORTING
The role will report to the Lighting Operations Supervisor
ROLE OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a Lighting Operations Assistant who loves being hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build a career in lighting.
You’ll be right at the heart of the action prepping kit, supporting shoots, working directly with clients and crews, and helping keep our lighting department running smoothly both in-studio and on location. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your technical skills, learn from experienced professionals, and grow into a key member of a rapidly expanding department.

A clean UK driving licence is preferred.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Preparing, packing and clearing lighting equipment for shoots
* Testing, inspecting and maintaining professional stills and motion lighting equipment• Delivering and collecting equipment using company vehicles
* Being a friendly, reliable point of contact for clients and crews in the studios• Managing stock levels of lighting equipment, consumables and spare parts
* Keeping kit in top condition through regular checks and maintenance• Flagging faults, damage or shortages to the Lighting Management team
SKILLS
* Clear, confident communication
* A sharp eye for detail and pride in doing things properly• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
* Comfortable working in a busy, ever-changing environment
* A collaborative, can-do team player
Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for lighting and production
* Commitment to learning and professional development
* Clean UK driving licence is preferred - advanced driving qualifications are a bonus
