The Role
As Caretaker, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the school site. You will ensure the buildings and grounds are well maintained and compliant with health & safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Opening and closing the school site daily
* Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general DIY tasks
* Conducting regular health & safety checks, including fire alarms and site inspections
* Ensuring the premises and outdoor areas are clean, safe, and secure
* Supporting contractors and overseeing works on site
* Assisting with deliveries and setting up for school events
You will work closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to maintain a high standard of site management.
