Park Recruit are delighted to be working in partnership with a top tier electrical specialist who are seeking additional support in their design team in the form of an Cad Technician. With an extensive portfolio of completed projects and a steady pipeline of exiting and future business, this client is growing year on year, and are keen to appoint an adaptable candidate and one who wants to progress within a supportive environment. Reporting to the Senior Design Manager, this role will support the engineering and design team through the creation of detailed schematics and models. The successful candidate will have strong CAD software skills (especially AutoCAD), a solid grasp of engineering principles, and a keen eye for detail. Key Responsibilities: Produce accurate CAD drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and Revit. Collaborate with engineers and architects to meet project specifications. Assist in creating technical documents and reports. Update existing drawings throughout project lifecycles. Attend project meetings to report on progress and resolve technical issues. Requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit a plus). Solid understanding of engineering design practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn new software and technologies. Desirable: Experience with Revit. Background in electrical design/engineering (preferred, not essential).
