Senior Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Required in Sidcup, Kent

Our client, a well-established family-run garage specialising in German vehicles, is looking to recruit a talented Senior Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their friendly team. Duties:
7. Servicing and repairing a range of German and high-performance vehicles including passenger cars, vans, and Class 7 vehicles.
8. Conducting thorough vehicle diagnostics using dealer-standard equipment
9. Performing complex repairs such as timing chains, gearboxes, and heavy mechanics tasks.
10. Carrying out MOT Testing if qualified, or undertaking testing after qualification.
11. Maintaining detailed service and repair records
12. Ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld at all times
Requirements of this Senior MOT Technician role:
13. At least 3 years post-apprenticeship experience working with premium brands
14. Valid MOT test licence or proven MOT testing capability, or willingness to train to become qualified.
15. Strong diagnostic skills with experience using main dealer tooling
16. Ability to service, repair, and diagnose a wide range of vehicle issues.
17. Own set of mechanics tools and a proactive approach to diagnostics and repairs
18. Knowledge of German vehicle systems such as BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, or Porsche is highly desirable.
