Hours of work…
* 45 hrs. per week referenced over a 17-week period
* Flexible start/finish times to suit
* Shifted out of hours cover weeknights and weekends on a 1 in 4 rota basis
* Overtime is available all throughout the year (OT rate will be paid at 1.5 hrs.)
* You will be paid door to door.
* WTD - 11 hours off between shifts is mandatory

The purpose of the role is to…
As a Biomass engineer you will be supporting Space Engineering Services in order to ensure the area you are allocated to operates effectively.
What you’ll be doing…
* Completion of pre-planned cleaning schedules on the biomass boiler and associated equipment.
* Completion of pre-planned maintenance schedules on the biomass plant and equipment. (1, 6 and 12 monthly)
* Complete reactive service calls, diagnose and rectify the issue.
* Carrying out maintenance tasks to a high standard.
* Updating maintenance records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely manner.
* Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely manner.
What success looks like…
* Building strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
o A fundamental member of a multi-discipline team, who deliver safe reactive and proactive maintenance to a very high standard on a number of contracts.
o Working with your line manager to achieve the contract goals and KPI’s.
o Working with your team to ensure that all members of the team deliver to the highest standard possible
o Positive working relationships with stakeholders, keeping the client updated on the progress of the work and the likely repair times
* Working in line with our H&S standards and processes
* Meeting H&S and Quality targets
o Working in line with other business standards, policies and procedures, including People & Development, Fleet, Stock etc.
o Accurate use of IT systems, both for Space Engineering and customers as required, ensuring timely, relevant and accurate information is available
o Positive driving habits, as captured and required through our Fleet Management Tools

* Who possesses the technical competencies and certificates relevant to the skill set and grade.
* 2 years post qualification experience in the industry at the grade of engineer.
* Who possess the ability to understand and consistently complete work from SOP’s (standard operating procedures)
