Were currently recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of three live affordable housing schemes, each at different stages of construction. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality homes that make a real difference in local communities. The Role: Youll report directly to the Operations Manager, overseeing all site activity and leading a team of Site Managers and subcontractors. Each project will be at a different phase from enabling works through to final snagging and handover so youll need to be highly organised, adaptable, and confident managing several moving parts at once. Your key responsibilities will include: Full site oversight and responsibility for programme, cost, quality, and safety across all three sites Day-to-day leadership of site teams, supporting Site Managers and ensuring high levels of performance Monitoring progress, flagging risks, and driving resolution to keep everything on track Managing relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, internal departments, and clients Working closely with the commercial team on budgets, forecasts and contract compliance Ensuring works are delivered in line with project specifications, building regs, and health & safety standards Leading project reviews and reporting regularly to the Operations Manager About You: Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry ideally with a background in affordable or social housing. Contractor and developer background will be considered but experience of working with housing associations is essential.
