We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Advisor to join the team at Brewers Decorator Centre in Haslemere to provide exceptional service to our customers in store.
Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday with Saturday on a rota.
Salary: £28,136 per annum plus pension and company benefits.
Our Haslemere store has been serving the local community for over 50 years and offers an extensive range of wallpapers, blinds, curtains, designer and trade paints, and decorating tools. Internet terminals allow customers to order products directly into the store. Branch hours are Monday to Friday 7:00‑17:00 and Saturday 8:00‑17:00.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, delivering on our reputation for quality Brewers service.
* Use product knowledge to recommend suitable products and help customers find the best solutions.
* Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the branch network.
* Develop sales of the company product range, including wallpaper, paint and fabric.
* Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and offer a comprehensive service.
* Promote seasonal and special items, and merchandise goods in-store to increase visibility and sales.
* Assist with stock maintenance in the branch.
* Unload deliveries and ensure stock is distributed throughout the store.
Requirements
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Approachable, friendly personality, happy to help customers and colleagues.
* Enjoys working both in a team and independently.
* Willingness to attend training to become a Fire Marshall and/or First Aider if required.
* Motivation to learn, develop skills, and progress within the industry.
* Previous retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
