Job summary;
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting and supervising children during lunchtime, helping to create a happy and caring environment. Full training will be provided.
We welcome applications from individuals who are patient, calm, well-organised, and adaptable. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential, as is using your own initiative when needed. A positive attitude and a good sense of humour are also important qualities for this role.
Key responsibilities include supervising pupils while they eat in the lunch hall or take part in lunchtime activities elsewhere in the school. Additional duties involve cleaning and clearing the dining area and equipment, which may include some light manual handling.
The jobholder must demonstrate a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. This will involve undertaking annual Safeguard training and using school reporting systems for any Safeguard concerns.
