We are seeking a visionary leader with a passion for innovative teaching and learning to join the Senior Leadership Team at King Edward VI Preparatory School as the Assistant Head - Teaching and Learning. The ideal candidate will have a bold vision for the future of education and the ability to drive and oversee initiatives that enhance pupil engagement and achievement. They will lead the integration of critical thinking and enquiry-based approaches to learning and support in the implementation of technology, including AI, into the curriculum. Additionally, they will support staff to conduct and lead research in pedagogy to inform and improve teaching practices and drive continuous improvement.
The right candidate will offer exceptional leadership skills, inspiring and motivating staff and pupils alike. They will have proven experience in leading teaching and learning innovations. They will be creative, forward-thinking, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working in a through-school or with other educational partnerships will be highly valued, as will their ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
