Our homes offer specialist care, facilities, and comprehensive training and development packages for staff. With your help, they'll perform at their best in every area. Using your expertise and passion for improving young people's outcomes, you'll visit our homes to identify development priorities in your area of responsibility. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leadership teams, supporting them to enhance their homes for the best outcomes for young people. You will lead change initiatives and support a team that drives development while upholding the Witherslack Group's vision and values. Key Requirements:
1. A committed and enthusiastic leader with a passion to make a difference.
2. Leading in care development with at least 4 years' experience working in Children's Homes, demonstrating change management and role development skills. Experience in coaching, safeguarding, mentoring, and understanding Ofsted inspections in Children's Homes is preferred. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are necessary.
3. Desirable: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
4. Professional qualification at Level 3 Working with Children and Young People (or equivalent).
5. Minimum of 4 years' experience in a children's home at a senior level within the last three years.
6. A full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
