We're looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to develop and maintain our suite of transfer applications. You'll work across three repositories spanning React frontends and AWS serverless backends, contributing to feature delivery, bug fixes, and operational support across the full stack. We want someone who takes ownership of their work, shows initiative in solving problems, and can operate with autonomy once given direction.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain features across transfer journeys
* Work across the full stack - React frontends, AWS Lambda BFF layers, and infrastructure as code
* Take ownership of issues end-to-end, from investigation through to production deployment
* Proactively identify and raise technical debt, bugs, and improvement opportunities
* Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
* Write well-tested, maintainable code with good coverage
* Collaborate with the wider team, platform teams, and product owners to deliver against requirements
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to team engineering standards

Backend / BFF
1. Node.js with TypeScript
2. AWS Lambda handler development
3. API Gateway - routing, authorizers, request/response handling
4. Middleware patterns for Lambda handlers (e.g. Middy)
