We're working with a warm and inclusive primary school in the heart of Bloxwich that's looking for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role is based in the school's Inclusion Hub, supporting children with moderate learning needs.You'll be working on a 1:1 basis with a child who has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), helping them to meet the learning targets set by their class teacher. The Inclusion Hub is a supportive space designed to help children thrive both academically and emotionally, and you'll be a key part of that journey.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Experience supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis in a school setting.
* A good understanding of EHCPs and how to follow them effectively.
* A patient, caring and proactive approach to supporting learning.
* Strong communication skills to work closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents.
* A relevant qualification in education or childcare is helpful but not essential.
