Ocean Housing actively look to recruit qualified trade operatives who would work in various areas of Property Services responding to Responsive, Void, and Planned works within our housing stock.
Successful candidates will be required to work 40 hours per week covering core business hours to meet our tenants' needs. Providing services on our existing stock within emergency, planned, or void scenarios. Once probation is passed, you will be included in our out-of-hours service with additional benefits of overtime and a 5% multi-skilled salary enhancement in addition to your basic annual salary.
Working alone or as part of a team, you will undertake duties of a qualified trade employee on building maintenance and improvement work. For Electrician and Heating Engineer roles, there will be an additional requirement to ensure compliance has been met.
All trade roles require the ability to hold basic skills in various disciplines and ensure works are of the highest quality, efficiency, and value for money for our customers.

27 days annual leave per year (plus Bank Holidays)

4% employer pension contribution including Death in Service Benefit of 3x Annual Salary.
Qualifications and Experience
It is essential that for the positions of Plumber, Mason, Carpenter, and Painter, you hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in the relevant trade. For Electrician and Heating Engineer roles, an NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification is essential.
