Join our Vodafone Business Technology Solutions team, where we support businesses of all sizes with world-class technology solutions. We design and develop our Fixed Line solutions, drive efficiency through automation and AI, and implement it all directly with our customers.
What you’ll do
As a Configuration Records Engineer supporting Scottish Power’s strategic telecommunications network across Scotland, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellence for our customer. You’ll ensure the accuracy and integrity of central records, topology diagrams, and network configuration data—maintaining the source of truth for SPEN’s network.
You will work closely with the project and senior engineers aligned to the account; providing professional administrative support across multiple contract activities. You’ll be responsible for timely updates to network diagrams and configuration changes, ensuring all documentation reflects the current state of the network.
Your day-to-day will include:
1. Maintaining and updating central records with meticulous attention to detail.
2. Translating engineering updates into accurate network topology diagrams using Microsoft Visio.
3. Collaborating with engineers to ensure documentation aligns with project milestones and technical changes.
4. Supporting planned activities throughout the year to help Vodafone and SPEN achieve their strategic goals.
5. Demonstrating a proactive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
