An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Mental Health Nurse to join our community team. This post is based in Nairn but the post holder may also undertake work in Badenoch and Strathspey from the Aviemore site.
We work as part of an integrated health team comprised of Nurses, OTs, Support Workers, Social Workers and Administrative staff.
The post holder will be responsible for the triage, assessment, care planning / risk assessment and care implementation of adults experiencing acute and severe mental health problems in the locality. We endorse a recovery focussed model of care, delivering a range of therapeutic interventions on both a 1-1 basic as well as in groups.
You should be confident and experienced in working with people with a wide range of mental health problems, with the ability to demonstrate a broad range of clinical intervention. You will be expected to work both independently and as part of a Multi-disciplinary Team.
A driving license is essential and you should have access to your own car for work purposes, although a pool car may be available at times.
