Interim Finance Lead - Glasgow Are you an experienced finance professional with a knack for mentoring and streamlining systems? Join a dynamic, community-focused housing organisation as Interim Finance Lead during a key period of transformation. You’ll play a vital role in strengthening the finance function and setting the team up for long-term success.

Based in Glasgow, they operate a hybrid working model that promotes flexibility and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide hands-on support and mentorship to a newly appointed Finance Manager as they transition into the sector.

* Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and ensure the organisation is audit-ready.

* Review and enhance financial systems and processes, with a focus on automation and improved reporting.

* Work closely with auditors and internal stakeholders to streamline financial operations.

* Lay the foundations for a more robust, future-ready finance function.

This role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, combining strong technical ability with a people-first approach.

About YouYou’ll bring:

* A full accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS or equivalent).

* Proven experience in the housing association or social housing sector.

* Strong skills in statutory accounts, audits, and Excel (including macros).

* A collaborative, mentoring style and a pragmatic, solutions-focused mindset.

* The ability to work independently and communicate confidently with diverse stakeholders.

What’s on Offer

* Contract: 6-month interim role, with strong potential for extension.

* Working Hours: Full-time (35 hours/week); a condensed 4-day week will also be considered.

* Hybrid Working: Minimum of 2 days a week in-office; remote working available on other days, including Fridays (when the office is closed).
