About the Role & Team
As the Product and Commercial Manager for Disneyland Paris (DLP) sitting in the Walt Disney Travel Company International (WDTCI) team, you will be responsible for monitoring and optimising DLP’s trading performance across WDTCI’s B2C and B2B channels, both online via WDTCI’s website and its contact centre. Own and shape the DLP product and commercial roadmap within WDTCI’s overall business plan, working closely with key stakeholders to shape and deliver key projects and initiatives. Be the main point of contact and resident expert for WDTCI’s DLP business, communicating and co-ordinating with key stakeholders to share priorities, roadmap and key learnings.
This role will require you to be working 4 days a week in our office and 1 day from home.
What You Will Do
Product Development & Management
* Lead the implementation of DLP’s annual product, campaigns and tactical activities across WDTCI’s sales channels. Develop go-to-market plans and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
* Develop and maintain strong internal product and commercial relationships across B2C and B2B, collaborating closely with DLP Central and DDI UK sales and marketing teams.
* Work in partnership with the WDTCI Digital Product Owner to develop a DLP product roadmap, ensuring key products and features for B2C and B2B are prioritised, scoped, costed and delivered effectively via WDTCI across full product lifecycle. Ensure cost assessments and approvals are obtained from the Senior Manager, Product & Commercial where appropriate.
Product & Revenue Optimisation
* Monitor sales statistics and market trends, reporting weekly to the UK team, and identifying opportunities to optimise performance through product mix and upsell strategies.
* Conduct post-campaign analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing, promotions, and sales channels; extract insights to inform future product development, marketing strategy and commercial decision-making.
* Plan and implement activities designed to optimise trading performance, working cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery.
* Provide commercial input into WDTCI affiliate marketing program & product strategy alignment to inform decisions around PPC investments.
* Support the UK DLP sales team in the planning, delivery and implementation of commercial initiatives through WDTCI to drive growth in the business.
* Assist the Senior Manager, Product & Commercial in developing financial models & business cases for key initiatives.
* Work with the Digital team providing guidance on B2C & B2B funnel optimization.
Partnership & Channel management
* Collaborate with the Product and Commercial Manager (3rd Parties and Transport) to identify and prioritise product needs to maximise transport performance, service and profitability.
* Partner cross-functionally to deliver effective channel management solutions for web and call centre, making clear recommendations to enhance efficiency and maintain strong performance.
* Proactively manage a rolling program of tactical initiatives and content updates, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Product and Commercial Manager (3rd Parties and Transport) as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Degree level qualification or equivalent experience working in a similar field (travel)
* Demonstrable experience within a commercial or product management role in an online travel or online retail environment
* Proven experience of successfully leading and implementing similar product end-to-end through effective project management and collaboration, essential
* Experience of sourcing, interpreting and acting upon complex performance data
* Experience within a large, matrix organisation, preferred
* Knowledge of or experience working within Disney Parks and Resorts, desirable
* Excellent organisation, time management skills and ability to prioritise
* Well-developed project management skills and ability to implement commercially driven initiatives
* Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills including strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Strong communication skills including spoken and written English for business use and ability to present effectively
* Analytical and creative thinker with an ability to effectively interpret data to make evidence-based business decisions
* Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
* Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Knowledge and understanding of Disney brand guidelines, preferred
* Fluent in English, French will be a plus
