Temp All Staffing are currently recruiting for a Children’s Residential Deputy Manager on behalf of our client. You will be responsible for assisting the home manager with the leading of staff, whilst maintaining the smooth running of the home which provides long term residential care for children and young people aged between 11-18 with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. The organisation is committed to helping and preparing young people to grow and develop into adulthood by building positive relationships and learning within a nurturing environment. The home is looking to recruit individuals who are enthusiastic, motivated and have a desire to support children and young people with complex needs.

The Role
8. Organise, plan and lead shifts
9. Responsibility for staff performance, training and support
10. Assist the registered manager with daily tasks
11. Work in line with children and young peoples care plans
12. Supervision of staff
13. Encourage independence and support children with their daily routines and activities
Your Experience/ Requirements
14. Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
15. Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Workforce/ Children and Young People or equivalent qualification
16. Willingness to complete the Level 5 Managers qualification
17. At least two years’ experience in working in a children’s home as a deputy or team leader
18. Experience working in a therapeutic home is preferred
19. A strong skill set in managing people and collaboration with key stake holders.
