Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 36 hours, Nights. Working days between Monday - Sunday and includes alternate weekends.

Your Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead a team of Care Assistants, delivering high quality, personal care to residents, while inspiring, developing and nurturing your team to be their best each day. We’ll train you on all aspects of digital care to transform how we work, enabling you to focus on clinical excellence and resident care.
You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By
* Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit
* Support with clinical duties, including assisting the nurse to observe, administer medications, review care plans and maintain accurate records
* Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for all shift handovers
* Assist with training and supervision of new staff to ensure they feel welcomed and supported
* Build relationships with residents, their families and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses
* Assist residents with a range of personal care duties
Qualifications & Skills
* You’ll have completed or be working towards an NVQ3 in care. We’re happy to support you in completing your qualification if needed.
* You’re motivated, positive with strong interpersonal skills, and enjoy working in a close-knit team. You’re pivotal in running a unit, working with the Nurse to support clinical duties for the home.
* Previous experience in the role, knowledge of its rewards and challenges, and a passion for making a real difference in people’s lives with kindness, personalised support and dignity.
