Level 2 BSL Learning Support Assistant – Gateshead Communication should never be a barrier to learning. We are seeking a compassionate BSL Learning Support Assistant to work across Gateshead, supporting children and young people with hearing impairments in a variety of educational settings. You'll be instrumental in creating inclusive learning environments where every pupil can participate, contribute and thrive. The role includes: Supporting communication through British Sign Language Helping pupils access classroom learning and activities Encouraging participation in group work and social interactions Supporting independence and self-confidence Working flexibly across different provisions Requirements: BSL Level 2 qualification Full UK driving licence and access to a car Strong teamwork and communication skills Commitment to inclusive education Help ensure every child has an equal opportunity to learn and succeed.
