⦁ Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
⦁ Friday: 07:30 – 11:30
Pay: £19 per hour
Holiday: 33 days per year
Overtime: Plenty of overtime opportunities available
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller / Programmer to join a precision machining company specialising in small-batch machining up to 1m³ components. The successful candidate will work on 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Program and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines using Fanuc and CadCamVIRO, transitioning to Fusion 360
⦁ Set up and tool machines for a variety of jobs
⦁ Produce small-batch precision components up to 1m³
⦁ Perform first-off checks and ongoing quality inspections to ensure tolerance compliance
⦁ Maintain accurate production records and report issues promptly
⦁ Support continuous improvement initiatives and workflow efficiency
Skills & Experience Required:
⦁ Proven experience on 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines
⦁ Proficient in Fanuc and CandCamVIRO; willingness to learn Fusion 360
⦁ Experience with steel, alloys, brass, and other materials
⦁ Ability to work to micron-level tolerances
⦁ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
⦁ Able to work independently and as part of a team
