The Role: What to Expect As a supply practitioner, no two days are the same. You will be the vital support system for local nurseries, helping them maintain safe ratios and high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include: Engaging Young Minds: Implementing the EYFS framework through creative play, messy play, and outdoor learning. Providing Nurturing Care: Assisting with daily routines, including meal times, snacks, and personal care for children aged 0-5. Team Collaboration: Working alongside permanent nursery teams to ensure a happy, safe, and "enabling" environment. Communication: Giving professional handovers to parents and permanent staff members. Requirements Requirements: What You Need We pride ourselves on the quality of our staff, so we do have a specific entry bar: Experience: You must have at least 3 months of recent experience working in a private day nursery or preschool (School-only experience or babysitting is not suitable). The 7:00 AM Call: You must be reachable and ready to accept bookings from 7:00 AM on the days you choose to work. Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare is preferred, but we welcome applications from Unqualified Assistants with significant nursery experience. Compliance: You must have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to pay for and process a new one immediately).
