Production Operator (Evaluation or Smelting)
Location: Brimsdown, Enfield, UK
Hours: 42 hours/week, 24/7 12-hour shifts (days & nights)
Contract: 6 months, likely to be extended

We’re hiring Production Operators for Evaluation or Smelting roles to support the safe and efficient processing of chemicals. What You’ll Do:
* Support the operations team to deliver high-quality products on time.
* Perform tasks as directed by the Production Lead, ensuring performance standards.
* Conduct basic maintenance checks and report issues to maintain safety.
* Adhere to health and safety protocols and documentation (risk assessments, process instructions).
* Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Evaluation Role:
* Assist in the preparation, processing, and storage of chemicals with precision.
Smelting Role:
* Handle higher levels of manual tasks and navigate stairs routinely.
* Work in a dusty environment (RPE provided).
* Use computer systems (e.g., Traksys) for inventory and paperwork.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: Previous chemical processing or manufacturing experience (mandatory).
* Education: GCSE grade C or equivalent in Chemistry, Maths, and English (or equivalent experience).
* Skills: Strong written and verbal English for accurate documentation.
* Requirements: Non-smoker (due to chemical handling); able to perform manual tasks; open to 24/7 day and night shifts.
* Smelting-Specific: Comfortable in a dusty environment with RPE and frequent stair climbing.
