Our client is a manufacturer and servicer of a wide range of products and services that help industries control and optimize the use of steam and other industrial fluids. They are recruting for a CNC operator to join their team and help ensure prodct are up to standard
Key responsibilities include:
* Setting and operating CNC lathes or Mills
* Producing parts to drawing, including deburring, cleaning and packaging to set procedures
* Ensuring quality through inspection using gauges, verniers and micrometers
* Working to SOPs, production rates, FLOAC, maintenance and cleanliness standards
* Adhering to EHS requirements and supporting continuous improvement activities
* Being flexible to support other duties, including training others where required
* Owning personal development and always demonstrating company core values
Experience & Skills
* Basic CNC operating experience
* Experience using measuring equipment desirable
* Desirable ability to read engineering drawings and CNC programs
* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in manufacturing desirable
* Understanding of working in a production environment and commercial impact
Salary/Package
* £30,000 - £35,000 base + 12% shift allowance (Increasing to 21% from June) = £36,300 – £42,350

Hours
* Late shift: Monday to Thursday (38 hours a week)
* Working hours: 2:00pm – 11:30pm
