* Proactive and efficient administration of Corporate Group Risk and Group Healthcare schemes
* Provide a professional high quality administration service to all clients, colleagues and other third parties

How you'll make an impact
* Responsible for client account ownership – anticipates and responds to the on-going and future needs and objectives of clients, with a prompt and flexible approach to meet and exceed their expectations and ensure consistent delivery of outstanding service
* Actively contribute towards the development and management of the Employee Benefits corporate objectives
* Demonstrates extensive and up to date technical employee benefits knowledge at all times, advising clients as required within the designated Permitted Areas of Activity as confirmed by line management/Compliance
* Maintains and develops strong relationships with both new and existing corporate clients, and is relied upon as their trusted adviser
* Develop effective internal and external relationships to assist in providing an efficient professional service to clients in line with service agreements and manage their expectations on work being undertaken
* Achieve and exceed revenue targets, through retention of existing clients and new business generation
* Ensure the profitable growth of the business by identifying and proactively developing and securing additional revenue from existing clients and new client relationships through cross selling initiatives, referrals, professional connections and leveraging AJG’s internal network
* Proactively identify other new business opportunities for both Wealth Management Advisers and General Insurance broking colleagues within the AJG Group
* Take overall responsibility to ensure all clients are profitable, serviced on the agreed standard / bespoke pricing basis, and fee invoicing process is undertaken in a timely manner
* Ability to draw up and negotiate on services / fee proposals – subject to the standard fee pricing structure and approval protocols in force
* Ensure any additional services offered to clients are agreed on the standard fee pricing basis through sign off by management
* Monitor income to ensure budget achieved and financial control over Consultant portfolio and client budgets
* Identify potential unprofitable clients and agree with management what action, if any, is required
* Ensure adherence to the firm’s engagement and re-engagement procedures, with suitable protections in place
* Preparation of detailed client reports, power point presentations, spreadsheets etc
* Management of timescales – ensure all client deadlines and service levels are met or client/management informed otherwise
* Work closely with and assist in the development of Associate Consultants and others within the team as directed by line management
* Undertake all projects in a professional, timely and compliant manner in liaison with other teams as required
* Attend team/Consultant meetings to share and exchange views and drive forward best practice and innovation within our services portfolio
* Carry out duties with our internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, including putting clients at the heart of our business
* Take all reasonable steps to ensure the part of the business for which you are accountable for, demonstrably complies with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, including putting clients at the heart of our business. If shortcomings are identified, take responsibility for remedial action planning and action in conjunction with the relevant experts within the firm

About you
* Demonstrable administration experience of Group Life assurance, Group Income Protection, Group Critical Illness and Group Healthcare
* Proven Financial Services administration experience
* Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work
* Excellent organisation skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
