About the Role
Our client is a high growth, mission led business transforming the way customers experience car finance through a blend of smart digital tools and human expertise. With a strong reputation for customer service and a culture recognised as one of the UK’s best places to work, they are now looking for a Head of Product Delivery to take ownership of execution across the organisation.
Operating through cross functional missions focused on the most commercially important initiatives, the business brings together Product, Engineering, Data, Insights and operational specialists to deliver measurable outcomes.
The Head of Product Delivery exists to ensure strategy consistently turns into execution, predictably, at pace and with impact.
Reporting to the Product Director, you will act as their right hand on execution, owning delivery across the business. You will bring clarity to priorities, urgency to progress and accountability to outcomes. You will identify and remove blockers, challenge slow decision making and intervene early when delivery is at risk, without defaulting to escalation.
Key Responsibilities
Mission Delivery
* Own delivery across all major missions and initiatives, ensuring priorities are clear, sequenced and delivered at pace
* Maintain a clear, up to date view of progress, dependencies and risks across multiple workstreams
* Step in early when delivery slips, driving recovery and keeping teams focused on outcomes
Cross Functional Execution
* Hold cross functional teams accountable for commitments and results
* Challenge unclear ownership, slow decision making and unnecessary process
* Resolve cross mission dependencies and competing priorities to keep work moving
Delivery Leadership and Ownership
* Set and reinforce clear expectations around delivery standards, pace and accountability
* Establish a strong operating rhythm for planning, tracking and review
* Own delivery challenges end to end, solving problems rather than escalating them
Experience and Attributes
This role would suit someone with proven experience owning delivery across multiple teams, missions or workstreams. You may have a background in delivery leadership, programme leadership, product operations or a similar execution focused role.
You will thrive in fast paced, outcome led environments where priorities are complex, expectations are high and progress needs to be made quickly.
