B2 Licensed Engineer – Shropshire | Permanent | Full-Time
Join a Global Leading Helicopter Organisation — where world-class engineering meets mission-critical aviation. You'll play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability and performance of the H135/H145 training fleet, used to train the next generation of military helicopter pilots.
The Opportunity
As a B2 Licensed Engineer, you'll be responsible for certifying, maintaining, and repairing advanced rotary-wing aircraft, ensuring continued airworthiness and operational readiness. You'll work as part of a dedicated maintenance team, supporting both flight operations and hangar activities.
Type training will be provided for the right candidate
What You'll Do
* Certify and carry out line and non-routine maintenance on H135/H145 rotorcraft.
* Oversee and certify the work of avionic and electrical fitters.
* Conduct inspections, repairs, and system replacements to exacting standards.
* Perform off-aircraft avionic and electrical work in the avionics workshop.
* Support daily flight operations and ensure aircraft movement, maintenance, and hangar activities run seamlessly.
* Maintain aircraft availability levels above 98% at site and during deployments.
About You
You're a detail-driven and safety-focused professional with strong avionics expertise and a commitment to excellence in rotary maintenance. You take pride in delivering precision engineering in a demanding operational environment.
Essential
* CAA Part 66 B2 Licence.
* Experience in a certifying role.
* Proven knowledge of helicopter avionics and electrical systems.
* Up-to-date understanding of Part 145, Part M, CAM, and flight operations regulations.
* Experience in flight operations and line maintenance.
Desirable
* Type rating or experience on H135/H145.
* Background in UK Military Aviation or MFTS.
* Experience using SAP or ERP systems.
