Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic Biology Teacher to work in a partner secondary school in Sheffield. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive science department and inspire students to develop curiosity and confidence in science.

About the Role
As a Biology Teacher, you will:
* Deliver Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with possible Key Stage 5 teaching.
* Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the curriculum.
* Teach core topics including cells, organisation, infection and response, bioenergetics, homeostasis, and ecology.
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to support achievement.
* Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively.
* Work collaboratively with the science department.
* Fulfil safeguarding and professional responsibilities.
About You
We are looking for a Biology Teacher who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has experience teaching Biology at secondary level.
* Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for science.
* Can engage learners of all abilities and manage behaviour confidently.
* Is organised, reliable, and committed to development.
* Holds, or is willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
