Maintenance Engineers play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities.
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and electrically biased engineer looking to work a rotational 12 hour shift with extended time off between each rotation.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for proactively maintaining and repairing equipment, identifying and implementing improvements to processes and machine output, and adhering to site health and safety rules and legislation.
Responsibilities
* Perform regular proactive maintenance and site PMs to ensure optimal equipment performance
* Respond quickly to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance as required
* Mainly work on electrical faults and maintenance with occasional mechanical work
* Work on engineering projects such as commissioning, installations, and relocations
* Identify and implement improvements to both process and machine output
* Ensure adherence to site health and safety rules and legislation
Requirements
* Time-served or recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical engineering subject
* Experience working in a multi-skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
* Ability to work at a fast pace and confidence in a manufacturing environment
