Role Overview
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to support the team at their Thirsk site. This is a hands-on role involving general warehouse duties, stock control, and the safe loading and unloading of goods. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or industrial environment and hold a valid FLT licence.
Requirements
* Valid Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance or Reach).
* Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
* Basic computer literacy – training will be given on internal systems.
* Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and a good team player.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating a forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials and equipment.
* Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries accurately.
* Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch.
* Maintaining accurate stock records and updating inventory systems.
* Assisting with general warehouse organisation and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
* Supporting engineers with equipment preparation and logistics when required.
* Adhering to all company health & safety policies and procedures.
