Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team. The majority of this work will be trunking meaning there is no handball or manual work involved!
Responsibilities
* Operate and drive Class 1 HGV to transport goods to designated locations.
* Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
* Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
* Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Shift pattern
* Monday to Friday
* Nights 17:30pm
* £19.05ph PAYE
HOLIDAYS CAN BE ACCRUED SEPERATLEY
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 HGV (CE)
* 12 month or has driven for at least 90 days as a Class 1 HGV driver.
* Valid CPC and Tachograph
* No more than 6 points on driving license. Will not accept DD10 DG10.
