The Role |
As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development, driving restaurant performance and achieving outstanding results.
You Will |
* Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent within your team.
* Role model a coaching culture within the management team.
* Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skill development.
* Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
* Build a coaching culture, working with the Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
* Be a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.
What We Look For |
* Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, driving performance in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, with genuine conversations that ensure your team feels supported and heard.
* Proven experience maintaining high standards in food, health, and safety.
* Understanding of financial performance, including gross profit and stock control.
* Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
* An inspiring leader who motivates their team to thrive and grow.
* Passionate about creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected and belongs.
* A proactive problem solver, quick on your feet.
