Our competitive package offers a wide range of benefits and rewards. The Position RES are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Portfolio Analyst join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the intake process, supporting our Service Delivery directors, and owning and overseeing the governance process for projects. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in PMO tools, and excellent organisational and facilitation skills. The role is part of the Office of the CIO, which ensures the IT Organisation “does the right things” through strategy and governance, as well as "doing things right" through performance management. This role is an essential part of the delivery of this team through managing all IT change through an intake prioritisation process, and managing and reporting on delivery, ensuring we are delivering our commitments on time, budget, scope and quality. This roles forms part of our global Project Delivery function made up of four project managers and two business analysts. Accountabilities Manage the Intake Process: Oversee the demand and intake process for new projects and requests, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and evaluated for prioritisation against our framework. Work with our Service Delivery Directors to ensure we are delivering the right projects for the business. Manage the assignment of resource to support the formation of the projects. Project Governance Process: Own and manage the governance gated process for projects, standards for documentation, requirements gathering, testing, go live procedures and service introduction, ensuring compliance with established standards and methodologies (waterfall and agile). Run a Customer Satisfaction regime to collect feedback from stakeholders and end users and use feedback to drive improvements to our services. SDLC Governance Process: Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) governance process to ensure internal delivery teams are delivering the right outcomes consistently to a high standard. Portfolio Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive portfolio reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and project statuses. Prepare material for project boards and for executive consumption. Risk Management: Implement a framework for managing and tracking risks across all of IT (working across IT functions including Operations and Cyber Security). Ensure that IT tracks and manages risk. Manage risks for the IT projects to ensure that risks are being managed and for an overall portfolio position on risks. IT Compliance and Audit: Support IT through compliance and audit management activities. IT Performance Reporting: Own and collate a monthly report for IT Performance Reporting, including creating variants specific to business units. PMO Tooling: Manage and optimize PMO tools to support project and portfolio management. Present, support, and lead-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude. Collaborates with IT peers and leadership to ensure that IT services are integrated and aligned with the broader IT strategy. Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of the overall IT strategy. Manage small IT projects as required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge and use of project and portfolio methods such as PMO, PRINCE2, P30, and Scrum. Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others. Strong experience overseeing a Project Management Office, including demand management, portfolio management, and project execution oversight. Strong customer and user experience focus. Ability to adapt to a wide range of activities without losing focus in order to handle the diverse nature of tasks within the OCIO effectively.
