We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and academically strong Science Teacher to join an Outstanding secondary school in Norwich from January. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner to deliver high-quality Science teaching across KS3–KS4, with the option to contribute to KS5 depending on specialism and experience.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ scientific understanding, practical skills and confidence in working scientifically. You will be expected to contribute to the continual improvement of the Science curriculum, support assessments, and play an active role in departmental initiatives such as revision sessions, interventions and enrichment activities.

Experience and Qualifications
* Degree in a Science discipline (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
* PGCE / QTS
* Experience teaching KS3–KS4 Science in a UK school setting
* Strong practical science understanding and lab awareness, including health & safety and risk assessment
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support a range of abilities
* Good classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students
* Commitment to fostering enthusiasm and curiosity in students, encouraging them to ask questions and think critically
* A reflective approach to teaching and a willingness to engage in ongoing professional development

Paid to scale in line with MPS/UPS, commensurate with experience.
