The owners of an award winning pub with rooms which has a busy dining operation are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the stable team of chefs working in the kitchen. The venue offers diners a lunch, dinner and all day Sunday menu which feature dishes prepared from local produce and are changed regularly to reflect the seasons along with a specials board. In this Sous Chef role you will be working within a small team of up to 6 chefs which means that you will be required to work around the sections in the kitchen whilst also running service when the Head Chef isn’t there. The pub is located in spectacular countryside which is a busy tourist attraction especially during the summer season.
Requirements:
A Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef who has been working in a similar fresh food pub or restaurant where you gained all round cooking skills is needed for this role. It is important that you have a passion for good cooking, bringing strong cooking abilities and also the creativity needed to design new dishes.
