Maintenance Electrician – Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Salary: £34,500 – £38,500 + £3185 for Callout Shift – Days (Mon–Fri 8:00am – 4:00pm + 1 in 4 on‑call rota)
A fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established FMCG business in Harrogate. This split role offers 50/50 time on a manufacturing site and support of local team rooms.
Key Responsibilities
* Support all building‑related equipment and services
* Focus 70% on electrical systems, 30% mechanical support
* Installation, testing, fault finding and maintenance of fire alarms, BMS, ventilation and general facilities
Required Qualifications
* Experience in electrical maintenance within building services or facilities
* 18th Edition qualification
* Strong electrical fault‑finding experience
* Ability to carry out basic mechanical tasks
* Experience with BMS, fire alarms and ventilation systems
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
* Good communication skills and customer‑focused approach
Desirable Experience
* Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
