Overview
You'll be a key part of our delivery team, contributing to the design and analysis of complex structures, while developing your technical and project management skills.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality engineering solutions and support project delivery across major UK and international assignments
* Work on the design, analysis and checking of structures across sectors - from bridges and tunnels to retaining walls and marine works
* Undertake calculations, use a variety of design software and apply international design codes and standards
* Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and clients
* Contribute to managing time, budgets, and project resources efficiently
* Adopt the standardisation and peer review of technical work to uphold design excellence
* Make positive contributions to health and safety on projects and across your work priorities health, safety and wellbeing, by reducing and managing associated risk
Qualifications
* A degree in civil or structural engineering (postgrad qualifications welcome)
* A proactive approach to become a Chartered Engineer (ICE, IStructE)
* Experience designing complex structures (foundations, bridges, marine structures, etc.) using steel, concrete, or composite materials
* A good understanding of structural analysis, construction methods, and advanced numerical modelling
* Familiarity with Eurocodes and international design standards
* Proficiency in finite element analysis software such as LUSAS, Midas
* A collaborative approach with excellent communication and writing skills
