Electrical Site ManagerLocation On site with one day per month in the Newhaven office Reports to Project Services Director UK and IrelandAbout the role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced qualified electrician to join a fast growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a business delivering a high volume of projects each year.In this hands on position you will oversee the delivery of lighting commercial solar PV and battery storage installations. You will manage installation teams and subcontractors while leading day to day site operations across commercial and industrial projects.This role requires strong technical expertise in solar PV systems combined with leadership capability to ensure projects are delivered safely efficiently and to a high standard.Key responsibilitiesPlay a key role in project and operations management including technical input into design and purchasing decisionsCarry out pre tender site surveysEnsure all sites comply with health and safety regulations and internal policiesCoordinate with office teams on materials and logisticsOversee installations and resolve issues before project handoverInspect completed and existing installations and troubleshoot technical challengesCommunicate effectively with customers and respond to queriesMaintain accurate project records and documentationSupport continuous improvement in quality and processesWork hands on with teams when required to meet deadlinesTravel to sites across the UK as requiredSkills and experience requiredQualified electrician with relevant certifications such as City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalentInspection and testing qualificationsCurrent wiring regulations certificationRecognised solar PV installation and maintenance certificationSite supervisor safety trainingValid ECS cardFull clean driving licenceExperience leading installation teams and subcontractorsProven experience with commercial and industrial grid connected solar PV systems in the UKKnowledge of solar PV equipment and systemsStrong IT skills including experience with system monitoringExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong problem solving and organisational abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityDesirableSite manager safety trainingTPBN1_UKTJ
